LDOE is requesting an extension of the period of availability for FY 2018 (FFY17) Title I, Part A funds that the State reserved for school improvement under ESEA section 1003.    

In order to extend the period of availability beyond September 30, 2019, LDOE is requesting a waiver under Section 8401 of ESEA to extend the period of availability of FY 2018 (FFY17) 1003 School Improvement for the SEA and all of its LEAs to September 30, 2020.
