Division of Education Finance
| Purpose |
| To develop and adopt equitable
means by which to distribute State and Federal aid to local education
agencies and other service providers
for public and nonpublic elementary and secondary schools, and
other educational programs. |
- Budget Management Unit - management and oversight
of all state-level appropriations including the Department, MFP,
local school districts, Special School Districts #1 and #2, and
funding to other recipients.
- Auditing Unit - performs reviews of the data utilized
in the Minimum Foundation Program funding formula, allocations
of state funds to non-public schools, and federal grants awarded
to subrecipients.
