Locations
Currently there are thirty-one facilities located around Louisiana that are administered by SSD. The Board Special Schools (BSS) each maintain individual websites to allow current information on programs and contact information associated with the facility. SSD facility information includes contact information for the Regional Coordinator responsible for the oversite of the SSD programs.

SSD Tech Center/Lending Library
Housed at Louisiana School for the Visually Impaired (LSVI) in Baton Rouge, the Special School District Technology Center (SSD Tech Center) is the district's assistive technology and professional development training center. As part of the resources included are an every growing assistive technology equipment and resource lending library, two computer labs and a conference room facility all on the second floor of the Clark classroom building.
