Business Education

Business Education in Louisiana is a broad, comprehensivecurriculum that prepares students to become productive citizens in a global economy. It provides students with meaningful instruction that is flexible and adpatable to needs of industry and society. Students gain a wide range of transferable skills that allow entrance into the job market with flexibility to function in new and merging technological occupations. Business Education develops knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to succeed in the workforce and provides the basis for students to successfully complete post-secondary programs in various content areas. All students need a general understand of how the American economy operates and the role business plays in the economic well-being of this country. Business Education courses provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become productive citizens and lifelong learners.
