February 14, 2025This unique scholarship provides $1,000 awards to Jump Start graduates who earn both a Jump Start credential and a Louisiana high school diploma, and who plan to enroll full-time in an LCTCS Construction Pathway Program or an Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) training program in the summer or fall immediately following high school graduation. -

Set to open for the 2025-2025 school year, the LA GATOR Scholarship Program empowers parents to choose the education that best fits their child’s unique needs. This new program awards scholarship accounts to eligible students that parents can use for a menu of approved education services like nonpublic school tuition and fees, tutoring, and other approved resources. -

The Education Recovery Scorecard ranks Louisiana first in the nation for reading and second for math. Louisiana is the only state where the average student has completed their recovery.
