2027 LDOE Early Childhood Conference

The Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE) is excited to host the fifth annual Early Childhood Conference - Louisiana’s Future Starts Here!

The conference will be held in two locations:

There will be no on-site registration. All registrations must be completed before attending the Conference.

Educators will use Whova to register for the Conference and build their personal schedules. The LDOE strongly encourages participants to register using an individual work email address rather than a shared or general email account. Please note that some email providers may block messages from event platforms or route them to spam. After registering, participants should check their spam or junk folders if they do not receive their Whova confirmation or other Conference communications. 

Registration Fees

To help offset the cost of providing a high-quality conference experience for thousands of Louisiana educators, the LDOE charges a nominal registration fee. The registration fee will cover:

·        Admission to the conference

·        Conference sessions

·        Lunch

·        T-Shirt

·        Tote bag

Participants can pay for their registration fee in Whova using Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. The LDOE does not accept cash, checks, money orders, or purchase orders for this event.

Transfer & Refund Policy

Registrants must request a refund or transfer of their registration no later than the dates listed below. No refunds or transfers will be allowed after. The refund will automatically be credited to the registrant's account within five (5) business days. Refund and transfers can be requested by contacting [email protected].

Call for Proposals

The Louisiana Department of Education invites individuals interested in presenting at the 2027 Early Childhood Conference to submit a session proposal for consideration.

The Call for Proposals will be open October 5–30, 2026. All proposals will be reviewed following the submission deadline, and applicants will be notified of their proposal status by November 13, 2026.

Presenters with accepted proposals will be asked to develop and submit their presentation slide deck by January 8, 2027.

Exhibitor Application

Organizations interested in exhibiting at the 2027 Early Childhood Conference are invited to submit an exhibitor application by December 1, 2026.

The LDOE will review applications, and applicants will be notified of their application status by December 15, 2026.

Approved exhibitors must submit payment by December 22, 2026 to confirm their participation. Additional exhibitor information and event logistics will be provided to confirmed exhibitors.
