Teacher Leader Summit is Louisiana’s premier professional learning event. Thousands of Louisiana educators dedicate part of their summer break to improve in their craft and prepare for the school year ahead. Attendees gain new skills, share their expertise, and collaborate with peers from across the state to make a greater impact on student achievement. Designed for educators serving students from birth to grade 12, Teacher Leader Summit offers sessions for classroom teachers, school and system leaders, district administrators, counselors, early childhood professionals, and more.

Teacher Leader Summit 2026 will take place May 26-28 at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. TLS 2026 celebrates the dedication and leadership of Louisiana educators. Together, we will spark new thinking, share what works, and shape what’s next.
Early-bird registration for Teacher Leader Summit (TLS) 2026 opens on February 16, 2026. School systems may prefer to submit TLS 2026 registration payments for large groups by check. To ensure a smooth process, school systems must obtain pre-approval for submitting a system-level check. Forms are due by January 9, 2026. Review this guidance for more information.
