Teacher Leader Summit
Teacher Leader Summit is Louisiana’s premier professional learning event. Thousands of Louisiana educators dedicate part of their summer break to improve in their craft and prepare for the school year ahead. Attendees gain new skills, share their expertise, and collaborate with peers from across the state to make a greater impact on student achievement. Designed for educators serving students from birth to grade 12, Teacher Leader Summit offers sessions for classroom teachers, school and system leaders, district administrators, counselors, early childhood professionals, and more.
Teacher Leader Summit 2027
Teacher Leader Summit 2027 takes place June 1-3 at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. The 2027 theme, “Win the Day,” celebrates the daily work educators do for Louisiana students.
Sessions center on strong core instruction, the work that has helped fuel Louisiana’s historic academic progress, and the daily practices needed to take the next step for students. The 2027 Summit also marks 15 years of bringing Louisiana educators together to strengthen their craft, learn from one another, and prepare for the school year ahead.
