The Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE) believes that student achievement is directly related to the quality of leadership provided by school principals. To enhance student achievement through principal development, the LDOE has created several programs specifically designed to meet the needs of school leaders. Core to the success of these programs is the mentorship provided by other school leaders who have already demonstrated significant success in school leadership.
Identified Mentor Principals work to support participants in our Aspiring Principal Fellows program, Novice Principal Academy, and Alternative Pathway 4 Boot Camp. (Please link to each landing page for these programs.)
