$1,000 STATEWIDE CONSTRUCTION SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE FOR JUMP START GRADUATES
February 14, 2025This unique scholarship provides $1,000 awards to Jump Start graduates who earn both a Jump Start credential and a Louisiana high school diploma, and who plan to enroll full-time in an LCTCS Construction Pathway Program or an Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) training program in the summer or fall immediately following high school graduation. -

The Education Recovery Scorecard ranks Louisiana first in the nation for reading and second for math. Louisiana is the only state where the average student has completed their recovery. -
US PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARS PROGRAM NAMES 83 LOUISIANA STUDENTS AS CANDIDATES FOR 2025 AWARD
February 8, 2025The U.S. Presidential Scholars Program named the 2025 candidates for Presidential Scholars, and 83 Louisiana students made the list. Each year, up to 161 students are named U.S. Presidential Scholars, one of the nation's highest honors for high school students.
