February 8, 2025The U.S. Presidential Scholars Program named the 2025 candidates for Presidential Scholars, and 83 Louisiana students made the list. Each year, up to 161 students are named U.S. Presidential Scholars, one of the nation's highest honors for high school students. -
LOUISIANA STUDENTS SELECTED FOR US SENATE YOUTH PROGRAM
January 13, 2025Emily Nevils of Winnfield and Neal Tandon of Kenner were selected from among the state’s top student leaders to be part of the 104 national student delegation that will attend meetings and briefings with senators, the president, a justice of the Supreme Court, leaders of cabinet agencies, and other officials throughout the week. Each delegate will also receive a $10,000 college scholarship for undergraduate study.
