K-8 STEM and Computer Science Resource Approval Process

Submissions for middle school exploratory computer science course resources must be submitted through the K-8 STEM/CS Resource Approval Process. This process ensures that students and teachers in grades K-8 have access to high-quality instructional resources for STEM and computer science education in Louisiana.

The approval process evaluates K-8 STEM resources based on the criteria outlined in the Quality STEM Implementation Guide, ensuring alignment with Louisiana STEM Pathways and other STEM courses offered in grades 9-12. Resources submitted for approval as middle school exploratory computer science courses must align with the 6-8 Louisiana Student Standards for Computer Science.
